REGISTRATION OF PATIENTS:
- 1.Before registering the patient, always re-confirm first with the patient/attendant if his/her card has been made or whether they are coming to the hospital for the first time.
- 2.If the patient is already registered then we have to then ask for their OPD card, if they do not have the OPD card then we have to check in the system with the desired contact number or the patient’s name.
- 3.Once reconfirmed with the patient/attendant the proper details and if we still do not find the proper information in the system only then we shall make a new OPD card for the patient.
PUBLING DEALING
- ● Greeting: As our mission is to provide the best care with empathy and kindness therefore our team makes sure that each interaction with patients/attendants is always polite and emphatic.
- ● Guiding Patients/Attendants: Guiding the patients or attendants is a basic responsibility of a front office member. Providing them guidelines about the rules and regulations, visiting timings, rooms, or OPD clinics is part of their duty.
- ● Doctors/Timings: Providing proper information about doctors and their OPD timings.
- ● Charges of Procedures: Explaining the attendants about the charges of procedures regarding billing is also one of their main responsibility.
ANSWERING CALLS
- ●Giving Information to Outside Patients: At HFH, the receptionist upon receiving phone calls from patients. Guides and provides them details for doctors OPD, admission charges for the specific wards.
- ●Taking Messages & Transferring Messages: All messages include the name of the caller, the name of the business, a phone number to return the call to, and a brief message stating the purpose of the call.
